Current vacancy: Executive Director – Deadline Extended! Apply by 14th July

We are seeking a gifted Executive Director to work with our Artistic Director on developing our regional and national profile. Tangle is already renowned for the quality of its operations. We are looking for a talented and astute manager to help take advantage of the wonderful opportunities now opening up.

Tangle is in the midst of a breakthrough period. Founded in 2009, by 2015 we had become both an NPO and a charity, successfully transitioning from an organisation reliant on project funding to a highly regarded theatre company with long term prospects, providing a unique and inspiring service to the communities of South West England. At this stage in our development we require a gifted individual to lead our administration, providing the strongest possible foundations for our artistic programme to flourish.

The role of Executive Director is a new position at Tangle. It has been created at an exciting time, with forthcoming tours from both our virtuoso ensemble, Tangle Company, with new pop-up poetic and musical work NO ONE IS AN ISLAND, and a brand new African-influenced production of Marlowe’s DOCTOR FAUSTUS – our most ambitious regional tour to date.

We are looking for a committed individual with a passion for African-Caribbean theatre and for reaching new audiences in the south west of England. In line with Tangle’s remit, we particularly welcome applications from BAME professionals.
