Tangle Café is our free, annual night of performance, networking and cultural exchange for professional creatives and people interested in African Caribbean theatre. Held at Yinka Shonibare MBE (RA)’s Guest Projects Africa, and featuring performances from our resident ensemble, Tangle Company, and Afro-Cornish fusion food, its an event not to be missed and fast becoming a key date in the African arts calendar.
Offering great food and great company, the Café is a space where theatre artists come together over a meal to meet, talk develop ideas, build peer support networks and make partnerships. Each events includes live music, performances, exhibitions and new commissions from artists drawn from our 600-strong talent pool. Fancy a taster of what to expect at Tangle Café? Come along on your own, or bring colleagues. Food and entertainment is provided for free, all you need to do is bring a bottle!
