TANGLE EDUCATOR TRAINING 2018
Tangle are offering an exciting paid opportunity for professional live performance artists from across the African Diaspora to be trained to deliver drama workshops based on the company’s repertoire.
Participants will take part in 2 days of training at Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects in Hackney E8, delivered by staff from Prime Theatre
Training takes place on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 September 2018 from 11am –5pm. Participants will receive a fee of £150 inclusive to attend for the two training days.
The training will focus on devising education workshops based around our forthcoming touring work, WATER BREAD AND SALT, a celebration of Nelson Mandela’s Centenary.
Participants must also commit to delivering a further single day or evening workshop in Swindon at one of the Prime partner schools, or with their youth theatre during autumn 2018. This will enable those taking part to put their skills into practice. Travel expenses and a fee will be paid for the work in Swindon. Further employment may then be offered as and when Tangle’s workshop package is bought by schools or other community organisations.
If you would like to apply to take part, please send a CV and brief statement expressing your relevant experience and interest to Alexander Mushore, Company Manager: firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday 17 August 2018.
