AMPLIFY is our new a talent development project aiming to increase African and Caribbean representation in off stage roles. It includes regular activities, training and placements throughout the year.

Delivered in partnership with Prime Theatre, this annual scheme is for arts professionals keen to develop workshop practitioner skills.
Our theme in 2019 is Renaissance Theatre – Breaking the Language Barrier. Participants receive a cash bursary to attend a two day training programme (in London on 9th and 16th September 2019), followed by a one day trial workshop day in Swindon (between 23rd September and 11th October).
After this training there may be further possibilities to deliver workshops as part of Tangle’s Discovery Programme across South West England, or as part of Prime Theatre’s programme in Swindon, during 2020.
Paid opportunities for Associate Producers and Project Managers to work on upcoming Tangle projects.
Placements in recorded sound and practical lighting design as part of our new touring production, Volpone. Recipients will receive a cash bursary and the opportunity to design their own programme of work in collaboration with Tangle’s creative team. Applications are invited from October 2019.
Tangle Artist Support Network
An open forum for theatre makers of all kinds to come together, share practice, exchange ideas and problem solve in a supportive environment. The first two Network sessions will take place from 3pm – 10pm on Friday 13th September at Guest Projects, 1 Andrews Road E8 4QL. Applications for places will open soon.
